Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about our services

Triforce Electrical and Air provides a comprehensive range of electrical services to homeowners and commercial operators in Brisbane, Bayside and the Gold Coast's northern suburbs.

Here are a few of our most commonly asked questions — if you don't see your question below, send us your enquiry and we'll answer it directly.

Are you a licensed electrician near me?

Triforce Electrical and Air is based in Shailer Park, on Brisbane's south side, and works from there across Shailer Park, the surrounding Logan suburbs, greater Brisbane, Bayside and the northern Gold Coast. We're not physically based in every suburb we service, but our licensed electricians travel to you throughout our service area. We hold Electrical Contractor Licence 83596 and ARC Licence AU53510.

Are you insured?

Triforce Electrical and Air is fully licensed, holding Electrical Contractor Licence 83596 and ARC Licence AU53510. If you need to see specific insurance documentation for a commercial project or contract, let our team know when you get in touch and we can talk you through what's available.

What kind of work do you do the most?

Our team handles a wide mix of residential and commercial electrical work, air conditioning and EV charger installation. Day to day, that most often means jobs like electrical repairs and fault finding, safety switches, switchboard upgrades, smoke alarms, lighting and ceiling fans, and appliance connections such as ovens, cooktops and rangehoods. See our Electrical Services and Air Conditioning pages for the full range, or get in touch to ask about a specific job.

Is my quote the final price I can expect to pay?

We discuss the scope of work and price with you before anything begins, so you know what to expect going in. If we find hidden or additional work is needed once a job is underway — not unusual with older wiring or switchboards — we'll always discuss it with you before proceeding, rather than just going ahead. We can't guarantee a price will never change once work has started, but you'll never be left in the dark about it.

Who will perform the work?

Your job is completed by the Triforce team and appropriately qualified technicians. We also employ apprentices at different stages of training, who work under strict supervision and guidance rather than unsupervised. Work isn't limited to any one person completing every task — you're covered by our whole team's experience.

What about guarantees and warranties?

Product warranties depend on the manufacturer and the specific product installed, so they vary from job to job. Our team can confirm the workmanship and product warranty that applies to your quoted work before we start, so you know exactly what's covered.

Why are electrical services so expensive?

Licensed electrical work reflects the cost of trained, qualified labour, insurance, compliant materials, testing equipment, safety gear, fully stocked vehicles and the overheads of running a compliant business. We understand pricing can feel like a lot for what looks like a small job, but that cost covers the training and standards behind doing it safely and correctly — we're always happy to talk through a quote in detail if you have questions.

Can't I just do the small electrical jobs myself?

For safety reasons, fixed electrical installation, alteration and repair work should always be carried out by a properly licensed electrician, in line with Queensland's electrical safety laws — see the Electrical Safety Office's guidance on DIY electrical work. We can't provide wiring instructions here, but if you're ever unsure whether something needs a licensed electrician, just ask our team and we'll point you in the right direction.
